Publishing Public Information About Your Charity
To help potential donors understand your charity’s mission and generate donations, you can publish information and credentials about your organization that will be visible to all visitors publicly.
To do this, log in to your charity account, click on the icon of a person in the top right corner, then select “Account” from the dropdown menu.
Scroll down to the Public Information heading. Here you can change your charity’s URL and add a brief description of your organization.
To add a description and let people know more about your charity, click on the “Edit” button, enter the description, and, once you’re happy with the selection, click “Save.”
To assign your charity a public BidWell URL, click on the pencil icon, then enter the URL you’d like to associate with your charity. Make sure that the URL contains only lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens. Your public URL should look something like this:
bidwell.auction/c/janes-charity
You can then share this URL with your donor base or any potential attendees. Anyone who clicks on the URL will see your organization’s logo and description.
On this page, there is also the option to donate to your charity with a dedicated donation button. Before you can activate the donation button, you must ensure that your charity is registered with BidWell’s payments partner, Stripe.
