Creating Events

To create an event, start by logging into your BidWell account and then click on “Add Event.”

Next, enter the name of the event, select the date that it will take place, the time that it starts, and write a long or short description detailing exactly what attendees can expect from your auction. You also have the option to add information about where the event will take place by clicking on “Location info” and then entering the address and city.

Once you’re happy with all of the information, click “Save” and your event will be created.

Adding items to your event

On the next page, you can customize your event by adding items you would like to auction and inviting attendees.

Add the items you would like to include in your auction by selecting “Add Item.” Upload an image of the item and enter details including the item’s name, description, starting price, and the date and time when the bidding ends, then click “Save”.

Adding attendees to your event

You can invite people to your auction in a number of different ways. Each event has a unique signup link that exists as a URL and QR code which can be sent out in a number of different ways, for example via email, embedded on a website, or included in a newsletter. Click “Generate Signup Link” to view the URL as well as the QR code.

If you already have a list of attendees that you would like to invite, you can add them as a CSV file by clicking on “Import Attendees” then, “Choose CSV file.” Your CSV file should contain the first name, last name, email, and phone number of each attendee. If your attendees don’t have a BidWell account, we’ll send them an email with information on how to finalize the signup process.

If you want to add attendees that were already used for a past event, you can do so by clicking on "Import Attendees, then "From event". Next, choose which attendees you would like to import, and when you're happy with your selection, click "Import Attendees."

You can also register an attendee manually by clicking on “Register Attendee” and entering the attendee’s details.
