Bid History

The bid history displays all of the bids as they are placed for a particular item. You can view the bid history of an item by heading to the event where it’s being auctioned and selecting it from the list of available items. If there are two maximum bids of equal amounts, BidWell will decide the winner based on who had the first bid, and once the auction ends, the winner will be clearly displayed.

This page can also be used to track payments from bidders. If you don’t see a payment on a particular item it’s likely that the transaction wasn’t successful, so it’s a good idea to consult this page before shipping any items.

Second awards

If you’d like to give a prize to the second-highest bidder on an item, you can do so on the bid history page. After you’ve selected the item, click on “Enable second award” and follow the prompts. Once the auction ends, second-place winners will then receive an email with a link to complete the payment for their prize.
